Salience is an independent advisory practice based in Tāmaki Makaurau, helping councils, iwi and Crown agencies make the long-horizon calls that shape communities.

We grew out of the de facto consulting work we were already doing for other people, and decided to make it official. Like most firms our size, we’ve grown steadily and organically - through referrals and repeat work with people we like. We’re deliberately small: our entire team is three people, working shoulder-to-shoulder with clients on strategy, business cases, funding, and getting boards and management teams pulling in the same direction.
